Why Losing is Better than Winning

May 22nd 2017

Andrew MacDonagh

Sounds like kind of a strange headline I know.  But when you think about it, it's not as crazy as it sounds.  Sports massive appeal makes sense in part due to it's mirroring of day to day life. It also make sense, based on that mirroring, that the struggles are ultimately more satisfying than ultimate success. Because we all relate to it.  We all relate to, "I'll get em next time!" When the action on the field can ignite the emotional struggles of day to day life, you have magic. The Leafs are at risk of losing this phenomenon .
